(A) Impaction removal of wisdom teeth.
We have 32 teeth the last 3molars comes at the age of
17 to 25 and it it's the time when a person normally
matures, so this molar is known as wisdom teeth.
Many a times this molar does not get space to come out or may be the tooth it self is misplaced so does not erupt properly or lies in the jaw and gives pain which sometimes is unbearable IMAGE
Symptoms:
- swelling in gums in that region
- pus discharge
- pain
- fever
- restricted mouth opening
- pain in temple region, back of ear and even angle of mouth.
- repeated pain in that region
- unerupted / partially erupted
- ulceration in check region near the tooth buccally/placed(placed facing your check)
- restricted mouth opening
- Food lodgment between partially erupted 3rd molar and 2nd molar which can lead to decay in 2nd molar
- Repair of fractured jaws due to accident/fall.
- Removal of cyst within the jaws
Sometimes some teeth that do not erupt and lie within the jaw bones result in to sevare pain and swelling……………….
